||Aboard the Cry of Murders, The Captain of galleon ship, R'lamiza Swiftfoot, Walked atop the upper most deck later in the evening. The sun having set over the open ocean all that could be heard was the soft breeze blowing and the sounds of the waves. Various crewmen went about their after dinner jobs. Giving Lami a small nod of recognition before scurrying out of her way. The Seeker made her way to the Bow of the ship where between two railings that lead out over the figurehead, That as in the image of a Griffin, Lay a small makeshift hammock that had been set up by a former crewmember, Written in crappy Eorzean, "Oh Captain! My Captain!"  She chuckled before plopping down in the hammock to watch the night sky, Tail curling up around her leg before she reached up to her ear. A certain Fire headed Seeker had to be pestered, even when Lami was away!||

A clicking sound was heard as she dialed in, "Why 'ello there! Miss A'erina! Ya busy? No? Lovely. Figured I could get ya an update on that list ya gave me few senights back. Got all the goods and headin' back home now!" She said not bothering to wait for a response. Knowing full well just her rambling on would at least award her a groan of annoyance.

A'erina had started keeping her linkpearl in her ear a majority of the time these days, just incase F'loki had wanted to talk to her. She was busy at work down in her lab, she carried a vial over to her workspace and set it down on a rack, tilted her head at it, and then put her hands together in celebration. " Perfect! Now I just need to finish off this mix and it'll be good to go." She nodded proudly at herself and went over to her cauldron, specially designed to mix things together and keep them at the right temperature for fermenting and such. She grabbed a beaker and a seemingly indestructible cup-spoon hybrid thing she had requested and made by her mother several years ago. She scooped up a red liquid and slowly began pouring it into the beaker. Looking at the remains still left and the space in the beaker she scooped up another and poured.

Her ears twitched as a small crackle was heard, followed by Lami's obnoxious voice. " Why 'ello there!" Like nails on a chalkboard, this startled A'erina, and luckily she only dropped the spoon, gripping the beaker a little too tightly, She let the cat finish speaking as she walked over carefully to her worktables and set it down on a tripod. flicking on a small burner underneath it, she held a hand up to her ear and decided to reply. " I appreciate you getting me some things, but do you have to call me? Is your seafaring life and myriad of adventures not enough for you? "

Lami grinned to herself. Target locked in. "Nope! It's the middle of the night! And no one wants ta talk ta me! Ya don't like hearin' from yer potential sister in law? How sad really. And here I was thinkin' we could plan the whole ordeal!" She sniffled falsely. Even going as far to rub her eyes."Whatcha dooooin'?" She'd ask after pausing abit.

A'erina 's eyes widen at her remark " W-What!? Sister-in-law?! Things between me and your brother are none of your business!" She takes a deep breath and calms down a little "Why would you assume I'd be awake at this time and with a linkpearl in? I could have been asleep for all you know. " She slowly begin filling up a few vials with some clearly safe liquid as a few drops end up on the worktables and floor as she continues talking. " ...Just makin' some stuff, If I don't make anything, it bugs me, a bit like you, really." She smirks to herself " Can't forget how to make some things, or you can screw it up. "

Lami snorted."I beg ta differ. It is QUIET me business. But not fer the reasons ya think. Just makin' sure he's happy. That's me only real concern...And why? That's easy. I'd bet me left foot yer hopin' he calls ya...Gives ya a little rin'. Am I right?" She said with a light chuckle."Not much fer makin' shite, Outside of makin' coin er makin' sumthin' dead that is..."

A'erina huffs at Lami "So what if I am waitin' to see if he wants to talk to me? He... He's happy. He told me so, 'kay? " She reassures herself " Yeah, he definitely said that when he came to see me" and nodded to Lami, even though they couldn't see her. " It's still nothing to do with you, though. "

Lami laughed at her last statement."It's me family. While I won't interfere with it. Doesn't mean I'm not gonna be involved. Least not in a direct way. Who knows. Maybe the idiot will need advice only a sister could give." Laughing loudly at the very thought."And by the by. Nuthin' wron' with that. Love is will..lovely, when it's on yer doorstep. I only tease cause I am partially jealous of yer strength." She said rather blatently.

A'erina's ears twitched a little as she listened, only partially listening, still content to work into the early morning hours. She walks over to the small orange tree she has and plucks a ripe one off it and walks over to the worktables, placing it down and slicing it in half, holding one half of it above a vial. She almost angrily squeezes it as Lami speaks. " It's not love. I... don't know what it is. Love is a strong word, Lami, you shouldn't throw it around like that when I've only been seeing him for a moon." She sighs as the orange has nothing left in it and has nothing left, she tosses it into the flower garden and continues " Don't be jealous of me for that. This strength doesn't belong to me, and the sooner I can control it, the sooner I won't need it anymore. "

Lami let out an sigh.”Fine then. Liking strongly enough ya literally become a ball of energy the moment they walk inta a room. That fair ya better?” Paused then for a moment it almost seemed like the conversation was over.”I think her takin’ strength differently. Was meaning more mentally then anythin’ else. In a sense of raw strength ya ain’t got shite on sum of the people I know. But yer not the weakest I’ll give ya that.”

A'erina shrugs. mumbling " I'd like to see them try. " under her breath. " Mentally? Are you serious? If anything I'm the complete opposite. I'm trying, but I've barely even started. I have your brother to thank for that, though, he's sweeter than I thought. " She recalls her behaviour at the Grindstone. " I haven't spoken to him recently though, I made a mistake takin' my axe to the Grindstone and... something came over me, I got a bit violent ~~rolling 700+ all night~~ and could feel it exhausting my aether... He left while I was fighting, I think I may have said something wrong to him. " She nods " Then you saw that Alkaid showed up, I had to withdraw because I couldn't fight anymore. Alkaid asked me about my health, can you even lie to her? Why did she need to know how I was? "

There was a long pause before Lami spoke again."I know 'bout that beast bit. Ta be specific then...since I really didn't want ta say, Assumin' ya do fall fer me moron of a brother, That yer willin' ta give such feelin's a go again..."She snorted."Fuck what am I sayin'? Ferget I said anythin'.  And as fer Alkaid? Ta be frank, I aint got a fuckin' clue. She's...an enigma ta me as well. Lass seems ta just...wanna get "Data" Fer sum reason. Perhaps she plans ta destroy us all after she'd gathered it all. But I sumhow doubt ya'd be on that list. I know sure as fuck I am though." Laughing abit more.

A'erina shrugs to herself " That's your problem, not mine. Clearly you've done some shit to warrant being on said list. "  She shakes her head and grabs a vial and gently removes a cork from it. " So, you gonna tell me about your family yet? " She'd grab a pipette and give it a squeeze as it sucks up a tar-like liquid, except a bright, almost neon, green colour from a small dish. She holds it over the contents of vial, and squeeze again. Small droplets quickly react and begin mixing with the contents already in the vial. " I just want to understand a bit more. "

Lami hummed."Well that depends, What do ya wanna know? I can tell ya me parents both died ta Garleans when I was...Eight turns? F'loki wasn't much older. We have ta sisters. R'esha and R'asha....We lived in a forest in Gyr Abania actually believe it er not."

She began swirling the vial around to mix it all together. " I just want to know, that's all. Somethin' obviously happened to you all that has made you the wa-- SHIT" Amidst the distraction of talking to Lami, and swirling the contents, a drop of the liquid founds it way to the egde of the vial and trickled down the side, right onto her finger, followed by a quick painful burning sensation. She had dropped the vial and was immediately holding it under the flowers irrigation system, the cold water soothing the pain as she held it there. " Sorry.  Yes, I just want to know more, I feel like everything is cryptic and I'm not meant to know, or I'm not allowed to know. "

Lami nodded, Not that she could see that."Suppose that's fair. I'll tell ya what I do remember. But if ya want all the details, F'loki would know more. He's the oldest after all." Inhaling deeply she'd say."It's not actually all that interestin'. We grew up in a small patch of woods in the Fringes. Learned how ta use a bow, Write. Basic shite. I wasn't very big on killin' shite back then so I got picked on alot. Probably why he's such a dick ta me...OH! I can tell ya his birth name!" She giggled to herself.

" She had sounded quite annoyed, almost insulted that it sounded like Lami was practically giving her the requested things for practically free.

Seeing as Lami was insistent on ending the conversation, A'erina decided to do so first and immediately removed the linkpearl from her ear and placed in on the tables, proceeding to bang her head against them " Lami is insufferable, Just get the shit, and tell her to go away, maybe she will go away, please go away. "  She's say it a few times before switchign the lights off in the lab and  heading upstairs.

Lami just grinned as she heard the scuffle and Rina’s flustered but mostly angry response. She really was worth teasing all the time. Knowing full well she’d push her a little too hard someday. “Good night!” She’d say even though she knew she couldn’t be heard now.
