<fc #dda0dd>''**[Akiko]**''</fc>  

||(This is the lead up to the trip westward, where we have Akiko currently at Shiokaze Hostelry, Enyo searching for someone to take her west, and Xany wanting to return home from his trip and meeting a familiar face who might just help.)||

||Shiokaze Hostelry, a place where many people pass through on their way to one of the many piers in Kugane either in search of or just getting off of a boat, or seeking a place to enjoy a nice bottle of sake. Whenever the Kurokaze was in port, there was always a sudden influx of western wine and spirits made available to the locals, the ship known for bearing cargo and travelers alike from far off Eorzea. Everyone knew who owned the ship, and those that did not were surprised to find that it was a young Au ra girl. Kotokaze, the proprietress, knew Akiko's story, the two being close friends for years. She knew what the ship was really for, but never told a soul. Anybody who knew never said a word. It was a merchant vessel, a passenger ship, but never once did anyone utter the word "ninja".||

The young Raen, Akiko, sat on one of the mid-tier platforms of the Hostelry, a bottle of sake and a full glass in front of her. To many that passed, she appeared deep in her cups, lithe frame slouched over the table, vacant stare at the full cup in her slender hand. But that was part of the illusion she made everyone believe. She was waiting for someone, another job from her uncle most likely. And while she passed the time, she listened, her hearing more acute thanks to her years of training, hushed whispers sounding like the person was across the table from her. One could never have too much knowledge of the going ons, especially when one would be setting out soon and wanted to know if the Imperials were out in force, or some monster at set up home along the merchant's route. 

As her eyes continued to watch the cup of rice wine, a man approached her table, reeking of alcohol himself though she could tell he hadn't had a drop to drink. The Hyur's arm draped over Akiko's shoulder, his face getting close and his body swaying in a way that showed he was looking for a good time. "H...hi there *hic* beautiful. Hows about we *hic* take this bottle upstairs?" He said, the fake slurring of words and hiccups convincing for many. Akiko's hand moved to her shoulder where his arm rested and brushed it off of her, but not before a small piece of paper was slid from his hand to her own. "Go away you drunken lout. Find some other girl who will dance for you." For good measure, she pushed the man away, who stumbled backwards into the empty table behind her. "*hic* Fine, not my type anyways....too skinny..." He made a motion of his hands showing wider curves in the air and stumbled off. Any watching would of probably had a chuckle and went back to their drinks, not knowing that someone's death had just been passed on to their executioner.

In the distance a minor disturbance can be heard of Xany trying to negotiate with a captain "wait why would the price be more now?" As the captain raising his voice "Ye daft lad? Your sword is fuckin huge! Surely it counts as another..may as well sink my bloody ship wit all the extra cargoo I'm bring'in bac..if ye won pay find a different cap'em." Tapping his foot in frustration he turns his way down the busy area to do just that people stepping to the side like the parting of the red sea to stare at this odd foriegner with the sword the size of a man, Xany notices a familiar AuRa and makes his way over to her table, flopping down his rucksack and sword he pulls up a chair, "heyyy  Akiko." Greeting her as sits "its Xany from the other night!" He says excitedly, "didn't think I would run into you again...by the way you said you were a merchant with a ship right?" Giving a nervous  chuckle, "don't suppose you would be heading west and maybe have room for another passenger?" Giving his best sad cat eyes "I can pay and even help with some of the work." Giving a half nervous smile. "Also I know where to stick the pointy end of a sword if we run into pirates." Giving a nudge and wink and chuckling at his obviously bad joke.

It wasn't long, perhaps a few minutes, that her contact had left that she felt the presence of another approach and sit down. The familiar sight of the cat she met the other night at the Dragon's Den had her sigh softly as she set the cup she was holding down on the table. "Ah, Xany. Yes, I recall...yes, I have a....I suppose....alright, slow down please. I cannot answer such a rapid number of questions all at once." She gives a soft laugh and shakes her head, her silver hair shifting behind her horns. She brushed off her haori as she waited a moment to speak. "I was planning on heading west again soon, so if you are in need of a ship I can offer you a place on mine. No coin needed, save you bring your own supplies for the trip and pull your weight on board as is needed. If you do not wish to bring your own supplies, then we can figure cost when we reach shore." 

She sighed softly, black eyes with their bright blue limbal rings glancing to the side, over the railing to the hostelry's counter below. The job was not too urgent, her target easy enough to track down once she reached Eorzean shores she figured. Her ship already was supplied, even a cargo of wine bound for the Moraby Drydocks in La Noscea as cover. Too bad she could not of stayed a bit longer, she was hoping for a night of enjoyment in a certain bed, but that would not be the case this time it would seem.

Scratching the back of his head in embarrassment "sorry heh...sometimes I get a bit over zealous." As he reaches down into his pack "hrmmm, should have enough rations for the trip.." nods to himself and forgetting his company "Oh, I don't mind swobbing the decks or pulling my own weight." He reassures. Waiting a few moments as to not overwhelm "So..when do we set sail? I'm not in any rush to get home just don't want to be late." Making a jest at his own expense.

The Raen's gaze moves from the floor below back to Xany. "We will leave in the morning, it is too late in the day to set sail and my friends need to make sure all is prepared before we leave." Once work came knocking for Akiko, she really couldn't find any way to relax. Why bother thinking of it. "Do you know where Pier 1 is? My ship, the Kurokaze, is docked there. I'll head that way myself, so you are free to come with me. But just in case you needed some things still, or....souvenirs as many westerns like to take home to loved ones, I figured I would let you know where it is." She offered a light-hearted smile, part real, but behind it was also part fake. She knew a smile from a pretty girl could disarm most, or make others feel more relaxed in her company. It was habit for her anymore, putting on a show. Very few knew the real Akiko after all.

Looks around behind him trying to gather his barring's "Maybe ill follow you there." and begins digging in his pack for a snack. "anyway, I hope i didn't interrupt anything looks like you were deep in thought." pointing at her drink.

Outside of Shiokaze Hostelry, a very upset Enyo rushes to the ferry docks in order to book passage from Kugane to Limsa Lominsa. “What do you mean they’re already gone?” Angrily slamming her fist on the counter. “Please lower your voice Ma’am” She ignores her, and walked into Shiokaze bar area to one of the ladies working the counter she knew. With a thud her face the met counter. “Oh Dear, Enyo, Let me get your favorite” The lady pulled out a small bottle of from behind the counter of the Azim Steppe wine and set it in front of her face. 

“That little weasel. I am going to kill him. Who does he think he is calling little lizard bitch” she sighed and looked up.”I need to leave, and I need to leave sooner than later. Deadlines.” She met the eyes of The woman. “But you just got back, and they are sending you out again?” She sighed and nodded. “They have me going to Limsa Lominsa, but the last ship left before I got in.” The woman gasped, “Since you been gone, there has been merchant making port here, and traveling between here and Eoreza. She is upstairs. Look for Akiko, Captain of Kurokaze , she has white hair, and in a black haori. She maybe…..” With that, Enyo was on her way up the stairs looking for a white haired woman in a black haori, only to freeze in her tracks at the site of what was described, but a Raen. Shit. Slowly approaching, trying to seem less of the ones in Azim, war hungry, blood thirsty. “Uh… Are you the Captain of Kurokaze? Akiko?”

Akiko gave another shake of her head, her hand moving from the table to her hair, straightening it out so that it once more fell over her shoulder. "Ah, no. I just order it to order it, I really do not drink that much." She says to Xany, standing up from her seat as the Xaela approached them. Tilting her head to the side at the question, she gives a bit of a smile. "I am, and I seem to be more popular than usual today. Either you need me to ship cargo, or are booking passage somewhere, and by the looks, I would say the later?" She says, no hint of animosity towards her, just a kind sort of observation.

with a mouth full of something that he found in his pack "oh amother pafinmer?"  swallows the big bite he had taken "hail traveler i'm Xany." as he gives a simple greeting.

Enyo nodded to Xany, but kept her focus on Akiko. Bowing in custom manner, she noticed she was still in her consulate uniform. Biting her lip, “Uh, something of a mix of both. If you wouldn't mind, I would like to keep this conversation private, can we step out on the balcony?”

Akiko gives a soft hmm, eyes looking over the smaller girl. Usually those who kept things private had baggage most didn't want. She knew after all, she had a lot of secrets. "Very well." She motions a hand to the balcony, before looking to Xany "Forgive me, this will be but a few moments, then we can head to the ship. Feel free to have some to drink though if you wish." She motions now to the sake before heading towards the doors for the balcony.

Stepping onto the balcony, and looking over the city that she had once called home. “I am Enyo, Bloodmoon, I travel under this name, but as a Treasure Hunter.”  Waving a hand over her dogi uniform. “ I usually like to keep my identity as a member of the Hingashi consulate to Garlean and Thavnairian to secrecy outside of the city.“ She then leans against the railing of the balcony. “I am seeking passage between Kugane and Limsa Lominsa. Today I returned after a two year assignment, upon my arrival today, I am being reassigned and need to travel as soon as possible. Thus I am a bit unprepared to this impromptu meeting” She pressed her hands to her temples “The matron at the bar advise that you are leaving for Eoreza, and she believes that your destination is Limsa Lominsa”

Akiko stands with her back to the wall, able to see the entire balcony as well as the doorway, as she listens to the Xaela. After a moment, she gives a soft hmm. "I want no trouble on or around my ship, but I am heading to La Noscea, so I can get you close to your destination. As I tell all my passengers, I don't charge for fare as long as you pull your weight when needed and bring your own supplies. If you wish to share meals with us, we will figure costs when we arrive on shore, but you are welcome to if you so choose. I also ask that, other then your room, the deck or the kitchen, you refrain from wandering too much. The ship is as much our home as it is a trading vessel, and some of my friends enjoy their privacy." She says, listing off the various things to the girl, not sounding rude or demanding in her tone, and offering a bit of a smile still. One passenger was normal, having two different ones like this was odd, and oddities had a bad way of causing harm in her line of work.

Enyo nods, "I wish to bring no trouble to the crew, in all expectations I did plan to pay my passage, plus the extra for secrecy. I am no diplomat, just a woman who needs to be somewhere. You mentioned cargo," Enyo chuckled to herself," the treasure hunting is actually a hobby. I would be potentially looking at  transporting goods in the future. If things go well, I'd like to see about that." She goes to reenter the build stops in."what time do you set sail?"

A single finger taps her chin as she thinks "While passengers are free, cargo does cost, but we can discuss that another time. As for when, we sail in the morning, so make sure you are ready by then. My ship, the Kurokaze, is docked on Pier 1, you can hardly miss it, should you have other places to be tonight." Her arms fold over her chest, as her eyes look the Au ra girl over once more, not having enough information to make a true decision on whether she will be trouble or not.

Inside you can hear some commotion as now groups of people are gathered around Xany with a serving girl half sitting on his lap and the crowed all listening to his tails and adventures and is about a bottle in "Yeah so there i was staring down a Morbal just waiting for it to charge," and he takes a drink while the people lean in for the conclusion "so it charges, the things gaping mouth open and a foul smell leaking from it, I lept into its maw to be swallowed whole with my sword," he giving it a confident pat obviously adding flair to the story "So I cut my way out!" He exclaims! Everyone cheers and some of the men offer more drinks hoping to loosen up some more story's even if they might be exaggerated a bit.

Relief fills her, and begins to walk to the doors. Turning back to Akiko,  " I do have somewhere to be, until the morning." With a bow, she walks back into the hostelry. Silently passing the group of people around Xany.

As the Xaela headed off to her own business, Akiko gave a brief shake of her head, silver hair shifting once more. "I feel this trip is going to be more eventful then the usual." She says to herself, moving back into the hostelry. As she moves past the table she was previously sitting at, she notices Xany and a number of people surrounding him. "I'm heading for the ship. Just....make sure you are on time in the morning if you do decide to stay out late." Her lips curve into a smirk as she begins to head down the stairs.

Meanwhile in the Bloodmoon residence, Enyo enjoys a traditional Xaela meal with her family. Even though they are sad to see her leave, they understand that her work is important to her. After the meal, she prepare for her new adventure. As this assignment would be less formal she packs simple, trading her Dogi for the Black Silk Ao Dai. Also changing her appearance up, she cuts her hair very short, and tints it back to the pastel purple shade.

She packs three leather bags, one with journals, letters and other work related items, another of her rations, and finally the pack she wears on her back. This one has several compartments, within the main she some of her wears, and a fresh journal, she has her belt and smaller bags already full rolled in the smaller compartment. The front of the bag has her old leather bound rapier strapped down.
