[R'asha]

R’asha walked into the Manor faintly remembering how her sister habitually called it the nexus but that name died long ago.

Walking down the stairway she’d find herself in a lab, looking about for a particular Lalafell.

[Eligor]

Eligor is sitting on a nearby table fully clad in black armor, seemingly tinkering with the helmet in one way or another while swords float around him overhead.

[R'asha]

R’asha didn’t waste time approaching him.

“Good Evening, Eligor. I’d like to continue that discussion we had the other evening before Syne made herself known to you. Along with a few more questions I have regarding another matter.”

[Eligor]

He continued working but the swords take on a red glow as she gets closer.

“Of course you are. Go on.”

[R'asha]

R’asha took little notice of the blades outside of their red glow. She preferred to just stay ignorant of his projects.

“I believe we discussed removing what remains of Garlemald stain on myself. In exchange I’d have to partake in meals more often….Much has happened since and I fail to remember the rest of the, possibilities. I do know the mention of my ability to conceive was brought up as well.”

[Eligor]

“…..”

He puts down his helmet.

“The food thing was you. That was improved upon, so Alkaid would not need to eat as much. Either way, not much had changed since then. What exactly are you hoping to learn now?”

[R'asha]

R’asha nodded. “Very well, As I am sure you know, Syne is from a special facility out east. I’d like to know if it’s still in operation. If so, I’d like to change that.”

[Eligor]

“Regardless of the accuracy of those claims it will not be necessary. My apprentice saw to that. Syne and her friend were what was left after she was done. Moreover, I fail to see how it would be your affair either way. You want to distance yourself from imperials correct? Why are you still trying to hunt them down?”

[R'asha]

R'asha nodded. “Then that's fine. I only wished to hunt down this last remnant. More for the girl then myself. But I won't need to if that place is already in shambles.”

Dropping the topic with a nod. “Then with that being said, I wish to undergo that treatment.”

[Eligor]

“I’ve already warned you of cost. But are you not also aware it will take time? Lots of it.”

[R'asha]

“How much time?”

[Eligor]

“It would vary based on your condition. You’re asking me to remove machinery and add flesh. Functioning flesh.

[R'asha]

R’asha nodded slowly. “And while stated once before, I’d hear again what it would change. It would make me stronger? But I’d have to eat more then I currently do. Correct?”

[Eligor]

“The food issue has more or less been solved, but yes when you do eat it will be more than others by a healthy amount.”

[R'asha]

R’asha shrugged.”Then I see no reason for me not to accept. It is, as far as I can tell, my best chance at being able to produce offspring. I know that it’s not a guarantee. But I am of the opinion it is worth the risk.”

[Eligor]

“If you just want children there are other, less arduous options, you do realize that?”

[R'asha]

“Such as?”

[Eligor]

“External fertilization.”

“Adoption.”

“Paying someone else to have the child for you.”

[R'asha]

R'asha just grunted. “I have thought on those. And I still would like to bear my own. At least one…I would be willing to adopt many others…But just one. Is all I'd ask for…” Looking Eligor over. “When should I be back for you to begin? I would like to inform a select few of my coming absence. ”

[Eligor]

He shrugs sarcastically and reaches for his helmet again.

“Oh, is that all? Let me just clear my schedule right on up for you then. By all means, let me give you an immediate answer for when you should return to gets moons worth of work done on your body.”

[R'asha]

“At your earliest convenience of course. I assumed that was implied.”

[Eligor]

“Do you actually understand what you are asking of me? This is not changing the oil out of a lamp!”

[R'asha]

“Not entirely. I know I am mostly machine now. And I know that will take time and a delicate set of hands. I know I ask much. Which is why I will wait until you are ready, I was just unsure of how soon, Or not I should expect to be contacted.”

[Eligor]

“You should be questioning first why you trust me enough to have such control over your potential life and death in the first place.”

“By all accounts you should have, I am quite the monster, no better than your previous slavers. Why place yourself in my hands even if I am capable?”

[R'asha]

My sister trusts you. You saved my youngest one. Even if it was for your own ends. I doubt you would wish to harm Lami intentionally if she is as important to one of your own daughters as I have heard.

[Eligor]

“Your brother also despises me. Is that worth nothing?”

[R'asha]

“It is worth something to me…But ultimately, I caused that in a way, Did I not?”

[Eligor]

“I suppose you did.”

He exhaled through his nose.

“I am dealing with family issues at the moment, and resolving a new suspicion. Once that is done I can do as you ask, but you should likely try to find Alkaid first, as any work I do on you will be based on what I did for her. Other than that….put any affairs in order. There may be complications you potentially cannot survive.”

[R'asha]

R’asha nodded. “Very well. I appreciate your future work. I will leave you to your business….Know where I might her find Alkaid?”

[Eligor]

“Not in the slightest but Arcturus and Antares should be able to contact or find her easily enough. They are still connected.”

[R'asha]

“That is where I will begin my search.” She offered a small wave and a nod. “Thank you again, I will leave you to your work.” Turning on her heels she made her way upstairs, First looking to contact Arcturus, R'esha, As she knew her, If she got no answer she would try her brother instead.

By the time she finished her calls she would be on the lawn of the Mercy Estate.

[R'esha]

Perhaps surprisingly, R’esha actually responds to contact.

[What? I do not hear any sounds of battle.]

[R'asha]

[Because I am not fighting right now, Do you know where Alkaid is, Perchance?]

[R'esha]

[Why do you want to know? Is it a mission? I can do missions better than a stalker.]

[R'esha]

[Tell me about the target.]

[R'asha]

[There is no target, There is something I need to speak with her about. I assure you I am in no danger nor do I have a job currently.]

[R'esha]

There is an annoyed huffing.

[Fine. Hold on.]

a short time later…

[She is in the Lavender Beds. I can have her go to that building there.]

[R'asha]

[Please. Thank you sister dearest]

[R'esha]

[There's no reason to thank me. I'm going now.]

[R'asha]

[Be safe. I love you.]

[Alkaid]

Click

a short time later…

Alkaid appears in front of the Mercy estate, wearing a pink dress.

[R'asha]

R’asha sighed. Not expecting any other response then the one she got.

Waving at Alkaid.”I’m sorry to call you so suddenly…But I am planning on having my mechanical bits replaced similar to yourself…would it be too rude for me to take a look?”

[Alkaid]

“……Look?”

[R'asha]

“Yes, at your adjustments…and to ask you if they are worth the suffering involved.”

[Alkaid]

“There was no suffering. I was made to sleep. What do you wish to see?”

[R'asha]

R’asha sort of shrugged as she stepped closer.

“Just how it looks…Do you prefer it to your old self?”

[Alkaid]

She tilts her head, not really sure how to respond as her dress begins to flutter in a sudden breeze. Displaying her bare arm, she just sort of moved it up and down.

“The skin is real now. There are no seams. You have not touched me, but you can compare. Not all of you is real, correct?”

[R'asha]

R’asha nodded. “No…It’s not.”

Walking up without a care to look it over.

“May I touch it?”

[Alkaid]

“You cannot take it, but you can touch it.”

[R'asha]

R’asha laughed.”No no. I wouldn’t take. Couldn’t even I wanted too. Just want to see…”

And with that she would approach and feel this machine replacement

[Alkaid]

It was skin. It did not seem strange at first, but further inspection would reveal a distinct lack of body hair and a noticeable hardening of the flesh if it was pressed firmly, like some sort of emergency shell. It also seemed slightly warmer than normal despite the breezy weather, but was paradoxically colder the further the touching strayed from where the veins would normally be.

[R'asha]

R’asha blinked a few times at this and released the flesh with a few nods.

“Is it…comfortable?”

[Alkaid]

“I do not know. What does it feel like when it is uncomfortable?”

[R'asha]

R’asha tapped her chin in thought at that.

“Like it’s, something out of place, it’s not painful but you know somethings wrong.”

[Alkaid]

“It’s not like it was before. It changed. But I can still perform. I still have my equipment as well.”

[R'asha]

R'asha just nods. “Very well…Then I believe I have all the evidence I need.. Thank you, Alkaid. I know you are busy.”

[Alkaid]

“I’m not busy.”

[R'asha]

R'asha rose a brow. “Oh? So you've just been…enjoying yourself? That's good to hear then.”

[Alkaid]

She doesn’t respond to that, taking it as her queue instead to leave. She turns around without responding and begins walking away without another word.”

[R'asha]

R’asha shook her head slightly with a small laugh. Before she trotted off the Manson grounds as well.
