[Sesera]

Opening the doors of the Quicksand and walking in was a Lalafell, dunesfolk variety, hair as golden as the Sagoli Desert, unkempt though, and was held in place with a white hairband. Her eyes were a captivating colour of blue, as she stood there in the midst of the busy establishment as the doors closed shut behind her. Her hands on her hips as she scoured around the place looking for someone, her gauntlet rattling against her armour as her height granted her no particular favour. Eventually her eyes settled on a red headed Miqo'te leaning against a pillar close to the bar. She made her approach to the woman but her presence was noticeable to the cat, who seemed oblivious to the Lalafell standing right by her. She proceeded to pull out her axe and, with the end of it bopped the Miqo'te on the head with a tap hard enough to bring her to her senses.

[A'erina]

“ What the fu- oh, Sese, I didn't see you there.”

[Sesera]

“ How many times have I told you, Rina? Daydreaming in the middle of a place like this? You need to pay more attention, girl, I could have been anyone.” The small one offered the Miqo'te a smile before grabbing a nearby stool and climbing onto it before resuming conversation “ So what's so important that you gotta be daydreaming for anyways.”

[A'erina]

“ Still got alot on my mind.” A'erina said, folding her arms and letting out a sigh.

[Sesera]

“ Not made your mind up then?” Sesera asked, “ Stay here with me, I could sure as hells use the company.”

[A'erina]

“ You're the only person I consider my friend anyways, Sese. But my com-”

[Sesera]

Another bop on her head, “ Told you before, cat, they are your friends,the Ishgardian, the Hrothgar, the Hingashi woman, the loved up Lalafell couple, even your cousin is a friend, don't make me have to keep reminding you of this.” The Lalafell played a big sister role rather well considering that she was 7 years younger than A'erina. “ I told you to /never/ call them compatriots, comrades, acquaintances or any other stupid word, they are your friends, as am I, don't you ever forget that. Even if you are planning on doing something stupid like running away.”

[A'erina]

“ They don't need me anyways, what can I give them that they dont already have? Plus I can help them by keeping away from them, that way I wont lose control again,”

[Sesera]

Sesera placed her hand on A'erina's shoulder, “ I told you, we can work on that just stop taking whatever is in those twelvesdamned concoctions you keep carrying around. How many times have I told you now? That stuff might be beneficial now but compared to what happens when you let it out, you are only making the whole thing worse.” Sesera stood up on the stool and looked her friend in her crimson eyes “ let. Me. Help. You. You dumb fuck.”

[A'erina]

A'erina placed her hand on Sesera's forehead and pushed the Lalafell's head away from her own, “ Don't look at me like that, You know I hate it when you're right.”

[Sesera]

“ You mean like everything else I tell you but you refuse to listen? A'erina, my darling, you play ignorant to everything because you won't accept the truth and want to live in your own little fantasy world where there is just you. That's not how it works.” Sesera smiles at A'erina again, knowing the Miqo'te listens to her more when she's smiling at her. “ This whole Aether thing is your biggest problem, stop fearing it and use it, you'd have a much better time overall.”

[A'erina]

The cat would listen, but the question of whether it sunk in was another matter, both Gair and Pipino had told her that everyone uses it, but listening to Sesera's words seemed to have more of an impact on her.

[Sesera]

“Besides, you go running away and you lose control, who's gonna be there to stop you? Local wildlife? Citizens in a village or town you're laying waste to? What if they kill you as the only way to stop you? How do you feel about that?”

[A'erina]

The miqo'te looked at the ground “ Ain't no reason to be living anymore anyways.”

[Sesera]

Sesera bopped A'erina on the head yet another time, “Forget that stuff with Eluric, things have happened, atleast the twelve didn't see to it he died, I'm sure that could very well have been worse, and you needn't ever visit Coerthas or Ishgard anyways.”

[A'erina]

“ I think I just want to get away, start my life over. ” she looked at Sesera, as if seeking approval.

[Sesera]

“ You know I won't stop you. But you can bet I will be absolutely furious with you if you do leave. I don't want to be the one to tell your friends that you've gone, they don't even know about me.”

[A'erina]

“ That's because I've not discussed you, you're my friend, Sese, and I'd rather you not get involved in any of my problems.”

[Sesera]

“ You're calling your friends a problem?” Sesera looked at A'erina. “ Have you ever stopped to think that maybe the problem is yourself? You come off as this rather unfriendly person, Always rude, that drink problem which… You don't have some kind of alcohol on you for once.” Sesera holds out her hand and places the back of it on A'erina's forehead “ You feelin' okay sweetheart? Since when have you stopped drinking?”

[A'erina]

A'erina swatted at the hand, knowing she was being ridiculed. “ Don't need to drink anymore, never helped me anyway. Just using it to escape everything.”

[Sesera]

Sesera giggled a little, “ I'm only teasing you, you twit.” her face quickly readjusting to a more serious look, “ A'erina, You asked me to help you, I'm here to help you, Just don't shut me out, don't shut your friends out, I'm sure they will help you if you just ask, and for the love of the twelve please just stop making that stuff, I will help you to get it under control, I promise.”

[A'erina]

“ Easy for you to say, you can control it.” A'erina sulked.

[Sesera]

“ And when in the six years that you've known me, have I ever lost control over it or better yet, ever needed to use it?” Awaiting an answer from A'erina only to be greeted with silence. “ Exactly, you're turning into a volatile time bomb if you keep suppressing it. Next time I see you we are going to have to get this whole mess you have gotten yourself into sorted.”

[A'erina]

“ If you say so.” A'erina said, not really agreeing with Sesera.

[Sesera]

“ I do say so, if need be I'll get your cousin and that Hrothgar to subdue you again.”

[A'erina]

A'erina's ears wiggled a little. “ …You knew about that?”

[Sesera]

“ 'Course I did. You could have seriously hurt someone. It's a good thing they managed to stop you or I would have had to step in.”

[A'erina]

“ Well, I did bite Pipino's finger, which was apparently enough to merit a bandage on it.” A'erina seemed to boast meriting another tap on her head “ Will you STOP!”

[Sesera]

“ Yup, when you can ditch that huge ego of yours and take things a little more seriously, I won't need to keep hitting you, because that thick skull of yours needs wearing down until you learn to listen to what you're told.” Sesera smiled, perhaps she was finally getting through to A'erina or maybe it was just the enjoyment of hitting her on the head several times in a short period of time.

[A'erina]

“ I don't have an ego at all. I sparred with my cousin and I beat him, then I decided to spar with Pipino and she shot me with damned rubber bullets and those things sting like crazy, look at these bruises!” She lifted up her top much to Sesera's shock which in again granted a rather swift whack on the head.

[Sesera]

“Not here you damned fool.”

[A'erina]

“ Oww… Okay okay, sorry mom” A'erina retorted. Offering a small laugh of appreciation towards her Lalafell friend.

“ So how're things on your end anyways, Sese?”

[Sesera]

“ Oh, um, W-well, you know that Caravan that was supposed to make it to the Mor Dhona? There was an ambush, wasn't expecting it, not when it was just a bunch of materials for the workers there. Not much to say after the initial rush I heard the clash of metal and next thing I knew I woke up the car was on fire and everyone I was accompanying was dead. Of course, just my luck that other travellers happen to pass by the scene on their way from Mor Dhona, and all they see is me, axe in hand, and immediately head back in the same direction they came from. I didn't stick around but it's fair to say I can't head on over to Mor Dhona anytime soon. ” Sesera scratched her head a little “ Can't say I'm too fond of being here in Ul'dah either. Always feel like someone is watching me.”

[A'erina]

“ Probably the Blades then, you know as much as anyone what they are like seeing as you were one.” A'erina being the recipient of another hit on head.

[Sesera]

“ Told you not to mention that, you know I hate that I had to be one of them. I've too much pride now to even so much as think to be one again. Not everything is about money for me.”
